Transitions can preserve context between screens, reveals can establish hierarchy, and small response cues can confirm that an interface understood the user.

When every element moves, nothing feels important. A motion system needs rules around timing, distance, easing, and when not to animate.

Reduced-motion behavior belongs in the design system too. The interface should remain clear even when the movement is removed.
