Type scale, spacing, surfaces, image treatment, motion, and interaction states create the grammar. Pages are compositions written with that grammar.
The system should be specific enough to create identity and flexible enough to produce different rhythms. Repetition is not the same as consistency.
When the system is right, adding a new product page or article becomes an act of composition instead of starting over.
